Sweetbitter

by Stephanie Danler This book was made into a TV series which I watched and loved before reading the book. I love the book more. The writing is gorgeous and I adored every finely crafted moment. Characters come alive, and have great backstories that roll out.

If you have any interest in the restaurant industry or food and wine (especially wine), I can highly recommend. This is a book I could read again—which, for me, is an unusual situation.
