The Winter Witch

It’s becoming sadly rare for me to fall into a book and get swept away, but Paula Brackston did that for me—and more, I was looking forward to my nightly reading with higher anticipation to see what would happen next. Her writing is lovely and smooth. I sunk into the setting and was entranced by the quirky characters Ms. Brackston came up with. The witch plot line was light and delightful as it rolled out. I was little unhappy with the ending but Ms. Brackston was successful at getting and holding my attention from cover to cover. I will seek out more of her books.
